Both parents as well as her siblings were very interested in photography as they traveled throughout Europe taking vacation photographs.

Katrin got her first camera at age 7.

All through her school career, she took art and photography classes. She advanced especially in the arts and her other hobby, sports.

Katrin graduated with 2 majors, English and art back in Germany.

After immigrating to the United States she started a professional career in graphic design, first working for a printing company, then opening her own business in 1994.

Today, Katrin is married and lives in Texas, where she continues to work as a graphic artist.

Her passion is still photography and art. Her pieces of art use several media, including the combination of computer-generated design, oil painting, colored pencil drawing and her own photographs.
